At just 18 years old, Brooke Henderson is already the second ranked women’s player in the world. This past week, Brooke earned her third LPGA Tour victory when she successfully defended her title at the Cambia Portland Classic (highlights below) by shooting 14-under, 274 through 72 holes.
In the short video above, we get to know the phenom Brooke Henderson a little better as a part of Team RBC’s campaign. Brooke tells us stories from her impressive amateur career, which included low-amateur honours for the 2014 US Women’s Open, as well as turning professional and earning her first victory on tour.
With the US Women’s Open next week at CordeValle Golf Club in California, Brooke’s game is peaking at the right time. She won the season’s second Major at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship while world number one, Lydia Ko won the year’s first Major at the ANA Inspiration. This is a budding rivalry in the making and we are excited to see what’s next for the two young phenoms!
