In the past few months, Tiger Woods’ absence from competitive golf have made people reflect on his impact on the sport and how it has affected the present and future generation of golfers. Tiger singlehandedly redefined modern golf and despite the abundance of young stars on tour such as Jason Day, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth, Tiger is surely missed out there on the course.
During last week’s Quicken Loans National, where Tiger Woods played host at Congressional Country Club, Tiger sat down with CBS announcers Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo to talk about the state of his game. He also gives us an update on his recovery from multiple back surgeries and what his future plans are regarding his return to competitive golf. Although nothing is set, we’re sure golf fans everywhere are highly anticipating his return!
