As the number one ranked golfer in the world, Jason Day naturally gets a lot of press coverage. His ascension to the top of golf’s pinnacle started in the 2015 season, where he broke out for multiple victories, including his first Major title at the PGA Championship.
Although Jason was off to a slow start in the 2016 season, he quickly caught fire and gained momentum with back-to-back victories at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the WGC-Dell Match Play. Last week, Jason added another title to his resume as he won the 2016 PLAYERS Championship in a wire-to-wire victory.
Before the tournament, Golfing World caught up with Jason Day as they talk about his form, family and his major hopes this year. It will be a busy few months ahead with the US Open, Open Championship, PGA Championship and the Olympics coming up. It will be a tough balancing act for Jason but with his game on form these days, we expect Jason to keep strengthening his hold as the top golfer in the world!
