James Hahn missed eight straight cuts before this week but at the 2016 Wells Fargo Championship, James captured his second PGA Tour victory in two years. Last season, James won the 2015 Northern Trust Open at Riviera in a three-man playoff. His second victory today would also require extra holes as Roberto Castro made a clutch putt on the 72nd hole to force a sudden death playoff.
Unfortunately for Castro, his tee shot on the first playoff hole found the creek on the left side of the 18th fairway and eventually led to a bogey. James Hahn took advantage of Castro’s mistake and won the tournament with par. Also of note, aside from James earning $1.3 million and a two-year extension on the PGA Tour, this victory also marks the first time that PXG, Parsons Xtreme Golf, has made it to the winner’s circle.
James currently has eleven PXG clubs in his bag, including the PXG 0311T irons and a PXG 0811X Prototype driver. Check out the rest of James’ bag here to see what he used for his second PGA Tour victory.
