We’ve had the opportunity to play some links-style courses here in North America including 2015 US Open venue Chambers Bay as well as Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs over in Nova Scotia. We’ve even visited the Home of Golf and the Old Course last year and have grown to love links-style golf.
In the video above, watch Golfing World’s course report of Waterville Golf Links, a golf course with history that stretches back to the 1800’s. Tom Fazio has even worked on the course to renovate and update the land. The Fazio Renovation and an ongoing Coastal Management Program focused on the entire Links and its perimeter. A Fazio designed practice facility was added to the Estate grounds and a state of the art health facility was added for the enjoyment of House guests. It is truly one of the most beautiful golf courses we’ve seen and we hope that we can make a trip there one day soon.
