After experiencing horrendous weather that led to a 54-hole finish at the Zurich Classic, the PGA Tour is now at Quail Hollow Club for the 2016 Wells Fargo Championship. Quail Hollow Club is one of the players’ favourite golf courses on the PGA Tour and is also the host of the 2017 PGA Championship and the 2021 Presidents Cup.
Although it’s one of the favourites, Quail Hollow is not an easy track, with the Green Mile, its last three-holes, ranking as the toughest closing stretch on Tour last season. 31 of the top 50 players in the current FedExCup standings will be in the field this week and they will be joined by Jim Furyk, who missed 8 months due to a wrist injury.
