Scotty Cameron is arguably the best at making putters in the golf world. When Rule 14-1b came into place, banning the use of anchored putters, you just knew that Scotty would have something cooking in his workshop. The result was the creation of Dual Balance putters, where the putter head is heavier by 50-grams than the standard models but there is also a 50-gram counterweight in the butt of the shaft.
The goal of the Dual Balance putter is to slow down the butt-end of the putter. This offers a great alternative for golfers, such as Adam Scott, who have been using the anchored stroke and is looking to slow down and stabilize their stroke. In the video above, watch as Scotty Cameron talks about the Dual Balance concept. This is certainly a great option available in the family of Titleist clubs and we are sure the future will bring us more innovative products.
