The fashion of golf is in the midst of an evolution and Nike is at the forefront of this change. We have seen the multinational corporation cross platforms, drawing inspiration from other sports to their golf division.
Last year, we saw the release of the Jordan Flight Runner Golf Shoe and it was only a sign of things to come. This year, we have seen the addition of some very fashion-forward golf shoes to Nike’s golf shoe collection, such as the Flyknit Chukka, Blazer Women’s Golf Shoe and the LunarForce 1 G.
Recently, Nike announced the release of the Nike FI Premiere to its golf shoe collection. With a fully waterproof Flyweave upper, the FI Premiere also utilizes a flexible Nike-free inspired midsole and an outsole that uses Integrated Traction in conjunction with four softspike cleats. It also features an asymmetrical response collar for enhanced support, fit and feel.
