30 for 30 is a series of documentary films that aimed to “detail aspects and perspectives of sports history that had not been fully explored.” Expanding on the series, there will also be a 30-part digital short film series, 30 for 30 Shorts.
In this short film by NYC-based filmmaker Christopher Andre Marks, we visit with Patrick Q.F. Barr, who has been playing street golf in New York City since 2009. After finding a golf club in the garbage, Barr decided to make “golf balls” out of milk cartons stuffed with newspaper. It’s a different twist on the game of golf but watch the feature to see how Tiger Hood tackles the streets of New York!
