Preview: 2016 RBC Heritage

After the high of the year’s first Major Championship, the PGA Tour will head to Hilton Head, South Carolina where players will take on the Pete Dye-designed Harbour Town Golf Links. The field will consist eight of the top 15 players in the FedEx Cup standings, highlighted by world number one Jason Day as well as Justin Thomas and Kevin Kisner.

Since year 2000, the greens at Harbour town Golf Links have been the toughest to hit on the PGA Tour. This puts a premium on ball-striking and it’s proven true, with players shooting in the 60s in all four rounds only thirty-two times in the tournament’s 47 year history. Although it’s not a Major, players will face a tough test if they hope to put on the tartan jacket at the end of the week!
