Although Danny Willett was the 12th ranked player in the world heading into the Masters, he was not really a household name. That has all changed after he became the 2016 Masters Champion. Many will look at Jordan Spieth losing the Masters after a quadruple 7 on the par-3 12th hole in the final round. But don’t discount Danny’s strong play in the final round, having shot a bogey-free 5-under 65 to win his first Major title by three shots.
To shoot that good of a score under the pressure of a final round in a Major Championship, Danny Willett must have full control of his game. In the Callaway video above, we hear from Randy Peterson, Director of Fitting and Instruction and Nick Arther, Club Performance Specialist of Callaway Golf, talk about Danny’s winning techniques that led to his Masters victory. From speed control on the greens to pitching from tight lies and being strategic on the tee box, these are techniques that all golfers can apply to their game. Have a look for yourself!
