Bryson DeChambeau: The Golf Scientist

Bryson DeChambeau burst onto the scene last year when he became only the fifth player in history to win the US Amateur and the NCAA singles title in the same year. At this week’s 80th Masters, Bryson will close out his amateur career before playing his first tournament as a professional at the RBC Heritage.

Bryson DeChambeau is known for his unique set of golf clubs, with all his irons (sand wedge to 3-iron) being the same length. Previously, Edel Golf provided Bryson with his custom set of clubs but recently, he was able to get his hands on some Cobra irons. Aside from a highly specialized set of Cobra King Forged MB irons, Bryson was also provided with a custom set of King Forged CB (cavity back) irons.

In the interview with Golf Digest ME above, Bryson DeChambeau discusses his one-plane swing in addition to explaining how his unique set of golf clubs could potentially revolutionize the game. Bryson believes that his single-length iron set concept could make golf a lot easier for beginners. What are your thoughts on Bryson’s unique take?
