The first major championship of 2016, The Masters, has dawned on Augusta, Georgia, and the top players in the world have assembled all in hopes of capturing the coveted green jacket on Sunday. The field is made up of 89 players, including 16-past champions and 6 amateurs, to make up the smallest field at The Masters since 2002.
There are many players that are coming into Augusta in form including Jason Day, who has won back-to-back tournaments at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and WGC-Dell Match Play. Adam Scott has also shown great form, also winning back-to-back tournaments earlier in the year at The Honda Classic and WGC-Cadillac Championship.
You can’t count out names like defending champion Jordan Spieth either, or Rory McIlroy, who is chasing greatness and hoping to complete the career grand slam. Bubba Watson always plays well at The Masters, while Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson are playing well and searching for their first Major. Who do you think will wear the Green Jacket come Sunday?
