This year, the US Open Championship will be held at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, PA, where Jordan Spieth will defend his title. Having hosted more major championships than any other club in America, Oakmont will certainly offer players one of the toughest test all season.
In close proximity to the Oakmont Country Club is the city of Pittsburgh and its NHL hockey team, the Penguins. Last week, the US Open trophy made a visit to their locker room and the players were thrilled as many of them are avid golfers. With the NHL playoffs coming up, this is not the trophy that the Penguins covet the most but as seen in the video above, some players could hardly contain their excitement!
