Under Armour teased us last year with their “Jordan Spieth” shoes – officially called the UA Drive One golf shoes. It was offered through a limited run last April in preparation for The Masters, but Under Armour will now be making the Drive One available through retail as well as two other models starting April 4, 2016.
The UA Drive One features ArmourVent™ mesh and waterproof OutDry® technologies to keep your feet cool and dry. A cleat-inspired carbon heel counter provides stability throughout the swing while a molded, dual-density sockliner forms to the shape of your foot. Super-responsive Micro G® foam cushions adds additional comfort. An anatomically engineered outsole also gives the shoe “dynamic flexibility and power.” CHAMP Zarma Tour® spikes with SLIM-Lok System® helps grip the surface for maximum torque in your golf swing.
The UA Drive One retails for USD $199.99 and will ship May 2, 2016 if you pre-order now.
Under Armour is also offering the Tempo Tour. This offering is made of breathable, full-grain leather and a lightweight waterproof membrane to keep you cool and dry. A removable molded sockliner supports & cradles your foot for full-round comfort while a Charged Cushioning® midsole delivers energy return, adaptive support and comfort. A built-in lateral TPU wrap (thermoplastic urethane) stabilizes your heel to prevent rollover so you maintain total control through every swing, which is unique to the Tempo Tour. CHAMP Zarma Tour® spikes, featuring the Slim-Lok® system, grip the surface for superior traction and maximum torque.
The UA Tempo Tour retails for USD $219.99 and will ship April 4, 2016 if you pre-order now.
Lastly, Under Armour releases the Tempo Hybrid. This pair of shoes is made of ultra-soft, water-resistant performance leather that sheds moisture and delivers step-in comfort. Like the Tempo Tour, a removable molded sockliner supports and cradles your foot for full-round comfort while Charged Cushioning® delivers energy return, adaptive support & unprecedented comfort. A built-in rubber bumper prevents foot twist and toe drag for better durability & control. As it is a “hybrid,” strategically placed rubber traction pods replace traditional spikes to grip the surface without digging into your feet.
The UA Tempo Hybrid retails for USD $159.99 and will ship April 4, 2016 if you pre-order now.
