Many thought that Adam Scott’s career would fade away once the anchored putting ban came into full effect this season. To the contrary, Adam Scott has played some of his best golf and has been one of the best putters in the sport over the past couple of weeks. Following a T2 at the Northern Trust Open, Scott would win the Honda Classic and WGC-Cadillac Championship, the first two events in the Florida Swing, in back-to-back starts!
There has definitely been a resurgence in his game this year. He had a great stretch between 2013 and 2014 where he became the first Australian to win The Masters and also win his first Major Championship, he would reach World Number 1 in the world and win even more tournaments. Last season was probably a bit of a disappointment though after missing the FedEx Cup Playoffs and dropping down the World Rankings. With his strong play as of late though, hopefully we see another big year out of Adam – we’re cheering for another Major Championship win for Adam, ideally The Open Championship!
