Mizuno Golf makes some of the best equipment in the sport, particularly with their Grain Flow Forging process and most recently, with the introduction of BORON into their JPX 850 Forged and MP-25 irons. In the video above, former World Number 1 Luke Donald takes a tour of Mizuno Golf’s iron forging factory in Hiroshima, Japan, where Mizuno has Grain Flow Forged irons and wedges since 1968. The Chuo factory only makes equipment for Mizuno.
This was a trip he took back in November 2015 to see how the Grain Flow Forged irons that he has played since college are made. Luke is a precision iron player and definitely has one of the best looking swings in golf. Currently, Luke has the new MP-5 irons in the bag (4-PW), an MP-H5 3-iron, S5 wedges (54*, 60*), JPX 850 fairway wood, JPX EZ hybrid and the JPX EZ driver.
