For the first time since 1904, golf is returning to the Summer Olympics this year at Rio 2016. Although the PGA Tour’s schedule is affected due to golf’s return to the Olympics, there are many benefits as well. We looked at some of these benefits with CNN Living Golf recently when they visited the HSBC Golf Business Forum in Shanghai a few months ago.
There will be 60 men and 60 women who will tee it up at the Olympics in Rio this summer, with a maximum of four players from any one country who are allowed in each competition. With the event just a few months away, Golfing World speaks to some of the sports’ most recognizable names as they give their thoughts on possibly representing their country on one of the world’s biggest sporting stage.
