Jason Day had one heck of a 2015 season – he won five times in 2015, including his first Major Championship at the PGA Championship, and even reached World Number 1 in the Official Golf World Rankings. Day enters 2016 as World Number 2, behind Jordan Spieth and is competing this week at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, where he is the defending champion.
It’s definitely an exciting time in golf with so many young players making their mark on the game. Jordan Spieth also had an amazing run last year, winning two Major Championships and contending in the others, while Rory McIlroy is always a player to watch. Rickie Fowler is also emerging and joining the conversation of a possible “Big 4” in golf.
