Jason Day: 2015 Season

Jason Day starts his 2016 season this week at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, where he is the defending champion. The 2015 Farmers Insurance Open victory was the first of Jason’s five victories last year which included the 2015 RBC Canadian Open, his first Major Championship at the 2015 PGA Championship as well as two FedEx Cup events, The Barclays and the BMW Championship. We also saw Jason reach Number 1 in the Official Golf World Rankings!

He was even in contention at the US Open and Open Championship, but ultimately finished T9 and T4, respectively. It was definitely a career year for Jason in 2015 though and it was only a matter of time before everything clicked at the right time for him. His hard work has definitely paid off and he enters 2016 as the number 2 golfer in the world, behind Jordan Spieth.

It’s definitely an exciting time in golf as we have some great, young players competing week in and week out including Spieth, Day, Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler. In the video above, watch a recap of Jason’s season ahead of his 2016 debut.
