Two years ago, the inaugural EurAsia Cup was held at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Malaysia. Recently, the second edition of the tournament was played once again at Glenmarie G&CC. With the future of golf closely tied to the Asia region, this biennial event is a great platform to showcase and contribute to the growth of the sport.
To the surprise of many, the EurAsia Cup in 2014 ended up in a draw. Although Team Europe had the lead going into the final day, Team Asia staged a furious comeback to even up the score. However, the 2016 EurAsia Cup yielded a much different result as Team Europe dominated to an emphatic 18½-5½ victory over Team Asia.
