Tiger Woods turned 40 years old last week and many golf fans have looked back at his amazing career so far. Among the many accomplishments in his career is his dominance at the USGA Championships. In this feature, USGA takes a look back at Tiger’s legendary feats.
In total, Tiger Woods has nine national titles under his belt. From 1991-1993, Tiger was the US Amateur Champion and his success continued the next three years as he won three straight US Amateur Championships. To this day, he remains the event’s only three-time winner. As a professional, Tiger won the US Open in year 2000, 2002 and 2008.
With Tiger engaging in other endeavors and his playing future uncertain, it’s impossible to predict what the future holds for Tiger Woods. As golf fans, we hope Tiger returns to compete at a high level and continue adding to his resume as one of the greatest in the game’s history.
