The GolfBoard

In part two of this episode of CNN Living Golf, Shane O’Donoghue continues his tour of California as he reaches Malibu. In the 1960s, the surfing craze took over this region as well as on a global level. It is this love for surfing that has led one legendary surfer, Laird Hamilton, to design the GolfBoard.

We have previously seen the GolfBoard “surf” Chambers Bay, site of the 2015 US Open and now, we get to hear from Laird Hamilton himself as he tells us the development process of the GolfBoard and how it has the potential to revolutionize the sport of golf on a recreational level.

can't+say+2

With Malibu just 30 miles away from Los Angeles, Shane O’Donoghue also pays a visit to Hollywood where we look at the relationship between golf and the movie industry. Aside from getting an inside scoop at Hollywood’s golf scene from actor Dougray Scott, we also take a look at some of the best films on golf.
