This is the second video of Golfing World’s Swing Thoughts series that we’re featuring on Eighteen Under Par. We first saw the series start with the LPGA Tour’s Alison Lee, who was in the spotlight at the Solheim Cup after some controversy. In this edition, we’re catching up with two-time Major Champion Martin Kaymer.
Hear from Kaymer as he talks about the importance of focusing on the target and the end goal when it comes to pressure moments, citng his crucial putt at the 2012 Ryder Cup as a key example. After winning his first Major at the 2010 PGA Championship, his game faltered a bit until he made that putt at Medinah. Since that putt, Kaymer’s career has really taken off again, winning THE PLAYERS, the US Open Championship, the PGA Grand Slam of Golf and the Ryder Cup with Team Europe in 2014.
