When one thinks of the metropolitan city of Hong Kong, golf is usually not the first thing that comes to mind. With a population of over 7 million people, the city is very dense and land is scarce in this former British Colony. However, there are top golf courses offered in this region and among them is the Clearwater Bay Golf Club.
In addition to hosting the UBS Hong Kong Open, Hong Kong was also host of the 2015 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, where the winner was rewarded with a place in the field of the 2016 Masters. With the event held at Clearwater Bay Golf Club, it offered competitors a challenging course to navigate in a stunning and scenic environment.
