This past week, the European Tour and its Race to Dubai traveled to Hong Kong for the 2015 UBS Hong Kong Open. England’s Justin Rose captured his eighth European Tour victory as he edged out Denmark’s Lucas Bjerregaard by one stroke. It was a battle all day but when Lucas made a double bogey on 14, that opened the door for Justin Rose win for the first time at Hong Kong Golf Club.
This victory will move Justin Rose to fourth in the Race to Dubai standings as they get closer to the DP World Tour Championship. Other notable players who played well were Patrick Reed and Matt Fitzpatrick, who once again placed in the top three of another tournament on the European Tour. He has placed in the top three more than any other player this year.
