Earlier this year, Lydia Ko won her first Major title at the 2015 Evian Championship at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Bains, France. In part one of this CNN Living Golf feature, we hear from some of the best female golfers in the sport on how they market themselves to a newly-found French audience.
With France being awarded the 2018 Ryder Cup at Le Golf National on the outskirts of Versailles near Paris, there is a sense that golf is on the rise in the country. Aside from hearing from the sport’s brightest female stars, we also hear from Mathilda Cappeliez, who is a 17 year old amateur to have successfully come out of the French junior golf program.
