PGA Tour: 2015-16 Season Preview

With the FedEx Cup playoffs still fresh on our minds and the Presidents Cup occurring just a week ago, it’s hard to believe that the 2015-16 PGA Tour season starts this week at the Frys.com Open in California. But that’s exactly the case with the PGA Tour’s wraparound season and the first event will have a few big names in the field.

With golf returning to the Summer Olympics in Rio in 2016, there will be a juggling act with the 47 events on the PGA Tour’s schedule. The most notable change will be the 2016 PGA Championship as it will move to the end of July, just two weeks after the Open Championship at the Royal Troon Golf Club.
