The 2015-2016 PGA Tour season starts next week at the Frys.com Open but the end of the year marks the off season for many golf professionals. Golf manufacturers also take this time to release new equipment for the upcoming season, such as Wilson Staff with their FG Tour F5 line of woods that is “geared towards the better player, while providing game improvement technology to help compliment anyone’s game.”

Headlining the new family of woods will be the FG Tour F5 driver. The 460cc driver will come in two lofts (9.0 and 10.5) but like most newly released drivers these days, they will be adjustable as it offers six loft settings and three adjustable sole weights. This will allow players to attain their ideal launch angle, ball speed and spin rate.

Aside from the Fast Fit technology, which is “the fastest, easiest and one of the lightest adjustable hosel systems” that allows quick fitting changes, the FG Tour F5 driver will also have the Reactive Face technology. This feature refers to the variable thicknesses on the clubface to maximize response and ball speeds at every spot on the face.

Unlike the driver, the FG Tour F5 fairway woods features the premium Carpenter Custom 455 maraging stainless steel face creates a thin, hot, high CT face for increased ball speeds and longer distances. But just like the driver, the fairway woods features Fast Fit technology, which “allows players to make quick adjustments by eliminating the need to remove the club head from the shaft.” There will be three loft models available, each including a 6-way adjustable hosel for precise ball trajectory.
