The historic Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club is one of the golf courses on the rotation of Open Championship venues. It last hosted the Open in 2012 when Ernie Els surprised the golf world by capturing his fourth Major title. Aside from the Open, Royal Lytham & St Annes have also hosted other prestigious events, such as two Ryder Cups, the Women’s and Senior’s Open Championship and most recently in Septemeber 2015, the Walker Cup.
A week ahead of the Walker Cup, Golfing World was on site as they take us through the golf club and explore the rich history of Royal Lytham & St Annes.
