The 2015 PGA Tour season may have been all about Jordan Spieth and Jason Day but for New Zealander Danny Lee, it was also a very good year as well. After an impressive amateur career, in which Danny became the youngest ever winner of the U.S. Amateur at the time in August 2008, Danny struggled for a few years gaining traction on the professional tour.
It was not until this year that Danny Lee broke through for his first PGA Tour at the 2015 Greenbrier Classic. This provided a springboard for Danny, as his rising confidence propelled him to eight top 10 finishes, a T2 finish in the TOUR Championship and 9th overall in the FedEx Cup rankings. In this player profile, Golfing World caught up with Danny Lee to reflect on his breakout season as he prepares to play in the Presidents Cup in his home country of South Korea!
