2015 TOUR Championship: Sunday

In the video above, take a behind the scenes look at the final round of the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola as it came to a dramatic close with Jordan Spieth and Henrik Stenson in the final pairing. Spieth would win it all by claiming the TOUR Championship and FedEx Cup titles.

Spieth has had a remarkable season which started in late November 2014 with a win at the Emirates Australian Open. He followed that up with a win at Tiger Woods’ 2014 Hero World Challenge and continued his fine play into 2015 with a win at the Valspar Championship. His winning ways kept going though as Spieth captured his first Green Jacket at The Masters in only his second start at Augusta National and then the US Open Championship at Chambers Bay.

Spieth would then win the John Deere Classic before falling just short of a playoff at The Open Championship at St. Andrews. He would be in the final group of the PGA Championship as well, but nobody was catching Jason Day that week. Although he struggled with his play during the first two playoff events, Spieth was still able to hold a top-5 spot in the Fedex Cup standings heading into the TOUR Championship. He would treat the tournament as a Major Championship with his preparation and it would pay off big time – not only with the tournament win, but also a $10 million bonus!

With such a great season, it’s no wonder Spieth was named the 2015 PGA TOUR Player of the Year – it’ll definitely be a year that will be difficult to top! He will now prepare to represent the USA in the 2015 Presidents Cup, hosted in South Korea at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea.
