Jason Day has been playing the best golf of his career over the past couple of months. He won early in 2015 at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines and seemed to be on the verge of breaking through for his very first Major Championship – he’s been so close the past couple of years.
After close calls at the US Open at Chambers Bay and The Open Championship at St. Andrews, Day really picked up his play and starting racking up wins. He won the week after The Open, where he left a putt short on the 72nd hole to join a playoff, at the RBC Canadian Open. A few weeks later, he would break through for his first Major Championship at the PGA Championship. From there, Day would not be stopped, winning The Barclays, the BMW Championship and rising to number 1 in the Official Golf World Rankings.
With so much success lately, you can bet that Day is dialed in. It takes an enormous amount of time, practice and dedication to be able to build a swing that is consistent and that can compete week in and week out on the PGA TOUR. Day has done exactly that and what’s more, he can repeat that golf swing to perfection even with his eyes closed!
