The FedEx Cup Playoffs continue this week in Boston, Massachusetts at TPC Boston where the top 100 in the standings will compete at the Deutsche Bank Championship. In the video above, watch a preview of the Deutsche Bank Championship where only the top 70 will advance into next week’s BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club in Illinois.
We were given a great show by Jason Day last week in the first tournament of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, The Barclays. He put on a putting clinic in the final round enroute to an 8-under-par 62 and 19-under par for the tournament, besting second place Henrik Stenson by six shots. He’s definitely playing the best golf of the summer so far. With a win this week at the Deutsche Bank Championship, Day could overtake both Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy and rise to World Number 1 in the Official Golf World Rankings. He’s already number 1 in the FedEx Cup standings and is one of the favourites to win it all this year!
