Last week, Davis Love III surprised the golf world when he won the 2015 Wyndham Championship at 51 years of age. With his 21st PGA TOUR victory, Davis Love III also became the third-oldest winner in the tour’s history. Now, in addition to captaining the 2016 Ryder Cup Team for the United States, Davis has also played himself into The 2016 Masters and PLAYERS Championship.
Davis Love III captained the 2012 Ryder Cup team that infamously lost in dramatic fashion on the last day of the tournament. In 2016, with the creation of a new task force, Davis hopes to redeem himself and take the US team back to the winner’s circle at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota.
