Lydia Ko Wins 2015 CP Canadian Women’s Open

Lydia Ko first emerged on the LPGA Tour in 2012 when she became the youngest winner of a LPGA Tour event at the 2012 CN Canadian Women’s Open at just 15 years old. She would go on to defend her title in 2013 and this past week, Lydia returned to Vancouver Golf Club to win her 12th professional victory and third Canadian Women’s Open title.

Despite going into the final round with a share of the lead at 12-under, Lydia Ko was unable to get anything going in her final round. She finished the round with an even-par 72 but that opened the door for Stacy Lewis, who shot a round of 5-under 67 to force a playoff. Fortunately for Lydia, she was able to hold off Stacy Lewis and capture the 2015 CN Canadian Women’s title for her 8th LPGA victory!
