Earlier in the year, Mizuno Golf announced the release of their new line of MP-irons, the MP-5 and MP-25, as well as their new S5 wedge. For a traditional golf company like Mizuno, they took the golf world by surprise with their new “Blue IP” finish on the S5 wedge – but for the traditionalists, it also comes in a beautiful White Satin finish.
The S5 wedge has already been in the bag of Luke Donald for the past couple of months. It has a slightly larger midsize profile, with sharply visible sole grinds for imagination and creativity around the green and forged from the company’s 1025E Grain Flow Forged Carbon Steel.
