Tiger Woods’ history with the Old Course in St Andrews has been much documented. In the two previous Open Championships held in year 2000 and 2005, Tiger Woods won the two Major titles by a combined 13 strokes. This year however, was much different as Tiger continues to struggle through his swing changes and shot rounds of 76 and 75 to miss the cut.
Nevertheless, Tiger’s affection for the Old Course has never wavered. In this interview with the Open, Tiger shares his first experiences at the Old Course and gives his insight on how to get around this timeless golf course. Tiger also talks about Nike’s initiative to inspire the next generation of golfers and on the other end of the age spectrum, his experience playing in the Champion Golfer’s Challenge.
