We’ve featured several Big Interviews from Golfing World over the past couple of months – Henrik Stenson, Lydia Ko, Ian Poulter, Peter Dawson and Michelle Wie have all sat down for the in-depth interviews. The latest Big Interview from Golfing World features former number one ranked amateur golfer in the world, Peter Uihlein.
Uihlein currently plays on the European Tour and was on the winning 2009 Walker Cup team. He even won the 2010 US Amateur Championship at Chambers Bay, a course that will host the US Open next week. Like Brooks Koepka, Uihlein also took his game overseas to Europe in hopes to develop a more well-rounded golf game. In 2013, he won the Madeira Islands Open and would also end up winning the European Tour’s Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year award, the first American to win the award.
In the video above, hear from Uihlein himself as he talks about his golf game, why he chose the European Tour and more in this latest episode of Big Interview by Golfing World!
