We are a week away from the 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay but before players travel to the Pacific Northwest, some of them will compete in the FedEx St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee. Ben Crane will look to defend his title at TPC Southwind, which has been one of the 15 toughest courses on the PGA Tour in each of the last 5 seasons.
The FedEx St. Jude Classic has been played in Memphis since 1958 and many big names have won this tournament, including Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Greg Norman. Since 2007, 7 of the last 8 champions in Memphis have qualified for the FedEx Cup playoffs. Aside from being a tough test, the FedEx Cup St. Jude Classic will also provide great preparation for the year’s second Major Championship next week!
