After visiting Padraig Harrington at Stackstown Golf Club in Dublin, Ireland, Shane O’Donoghue and CNN Living Golf continues on their journey. Starting in the Southern city of Cork, Shane travels along the 1,500 mile West coast of Ireland to the city of Donegal in the North. Along the way, we get a glimpse of some of the most picturesque golf courses in the world.
Last year, we visited Old Head Golf Links in Ireland with Shane and the reigning Open Champion, Rory McIlroy. On this trip, we visit some of the finest work from famed Irish golf architect, Eddie Hackett. From Connemara to Carne and Enniscrone Golf Links, we see Mr.Hackett’s design philosophy at its best, sculpting the golf course to the natural contours of Ireland’s wondrous landscape.
