Jordan Spieth’s career reached new heights last month when he won his first Major Championship at the 2015 Masters. As the current number two golfer in the world, Jordan’s talent was always apparent. It was not long after Jordan turned professional as a 19 year old that he notched his first victory at the 2013 John Deere Classic. A few more victories followed after that and along with Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia, Jordan became one of four players to win multiple events on the PGA Tour before the age of 22.
Jordan’s play on the course has been impressive and his peers have recognized it. Jordan is mature beyond his age, with a very grounded approach to life, despite the success that he has accomplished at such a young age. Jordan recognizes the need to keep working hard and continue to be an ambassador for the sport of golf, which will ensure his spot as one of the game’s brightest stars in years to come.
With the 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay just weeks away and Jordan’s caddie having extensive working experience at the venue, there’s a high probability that we might just see Jordan add a second Major to his resume in his young professional career.
