The 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay is only three weeks away. This marks the first time that the Pacific Northwest will host the National Championship but this year will also mark the 50th anniversary of when Gary Player captured the career Grand Slam. In tribute of this anniversary, all Callaway staff pros will sport a special edition staff bag in the year’s second Major Championship that’ll commemorate Mr. Players’ great achievement in 1965.
In the video above, we see Mr. Player’s reaction when he first laid eyes on the special edition staff bag. The colourways and detail of the bag’s design emphasizes the Pacific Northwest region and Chambers Bay Golf Course. It also features a commemorative logo that will surely be a big hit with the Callaway staff pros. Be sure to be on the lookout for these bags during the 2015 US Open. It’s a shame that these bags won’t be available to the public!
