After multiple delays due to heavy rain in the Fort Worth, Texas area, the 2015 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial ended up being quite the tournament. There were a few players in the hunt in the final round, including Texas native and current Masters Champion Jordan Spieth, Chris Kirk, Brandt Snedeker and Jason Bohn.
In the end, it was Chris Kirk who shot a final round 4-under 66 to claim his fourth PGA victory by one stroke. After an errant shot on the 72nd hole, Chris was able to convert a 7-foot putt to par the hole and finish at a total score of 12-under at Hogan’s Alley. Next week, the PGA Tour will stay in the state of Texas for the AT&T Bryan Nelson at the TPC Four Seasons Resort Dallas at Las Colinas.
