The PGA TOUR tees it up this week in the state of Texas for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, one of the most historic events on the TOUR schedule. Colonial is often regarded as the hardest par 70 course in the world, and synonymous with Ft. Worth native and legend Ben Hogan.
Adam Scott will tee it up this week as he hopes to defend his title from last year – with the win, he officially became number 1 in the official world golf rankings before Rory McIlroy went on his tremendous summer. While the PGA TOUR is in Texas, many of Europe’s best is teeing it up over in England for the European Tour’s flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Golf Club, where Rory McIlroy will hope to defend his title.
