Callaway Talks: Big Bertha Mini 1.5

There’s been a bit of a niche market for mini drivers over the past couple of years. We first saw a mini driver brought to the mass market by TaylorMade Golf and the SLDR Mini driver. Since then, we’ve seen other smaller headed drivers, including the Big Bertha Mini 1.5 by Callaway Golf.

It’s not quite a driver and not quite a fairway wood. But it’s definitely a club that can be lethal and help you shoot lower scores. The Big Bertha Mini 1.5 has more MOI than the typical Callaway 3-wood from a 235cc head that is 35% larger than the XR. Off the face, the Mini provides high ball speed from a Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup, a Forged Composite crown and a cambered Warbird Sole, making the club easy to hit.

The Mini also offers a lot of versatility and adjustability for golfers. Whether you want to use it as a replacement driver, a longer option off the tee than a 3-wood, or a club that is playable off the fairway. The OptiFit Hosel adds to this versatility so you can tune to the club to your settings. Choose from 8 different combinations for your loft (-1, S, +1, +2) and lie angle (Draw or Neutral) configurations.

In the video above, watch the latest episode of Callaway Talks as R&D expert Alan Hocknell and SVP of Marketing Harry Arnett discuss all the benefits of the new Callaway Golf Big Bertha Mini 1.5.
