As the number one ranked golfer in the world, Rory McIlroy has a lot of responsibilities to bear in his day to day life. However, Rory has maintained his humility through it all, having established the Rory Foundation to do his part in giving back. In this week’s Pro-Am at the 2015 Wells Fargo Championship, Rory’s high character was on full display as he made one person’s dream come true.
Through the First Tee Succeeding Together contest, 16 year old Grace Vaughn was able to tee it up with her idol Rory McIlroy. Just as Rory had looked up to his idols, he understands that there is a “Ripple” effect and used his experience to make Grace’s day with him as memorable as possible.
