After a thrilling finish at the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, the PGA Tour heads to North Carolina for the 2015 Wells Fargo Championship. There will be a strong field playing at the famed Quail Hollow Club, with 15 of the top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings in the field, including the world number one golfer Rory McIlroy, who earned his first PGA Tour victory at this tournament in 2010.
The Quail Hollow Club boosts the Green Mile, the final three holes of the course that ranked as the hardest finishing stretch on tour in 2014. Aside from presenting challenges to players annually at the Wells Fargo Championship, Quail Hollow Club will also host the 2017 PGA Championship and the 2021 President’s Cup. With such a highly regarded venue, this week’s winner will need to be on top of his game to capture the Wells Fargo Championship title.
