Rickie Fowler won his second PGA TOUR event in dramatic fashion last weekend at THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. After being voted by his peers in an anonymous poll as one of the most overrated players on Tour (the other being Ian Poulter), Fowler went 8-under par in his final 10 holes to win at 12-under par after a three-way playoff.
The hard work he put in with his swing changes has finally paid off. After finishing in the top-5 in all four Major Championships last year, you could see that Fowler was on the verge of greatness. This is the biggest win in his career and one that will hopefully be a springboard for him for the rest of the year.
