Hideki Matsuyama is one of the young stars on the PGA Tour. At just 23 years of age, Hideki has won six times on the Japan Golf Tour and once on the PGA Tour, having won the Memorial Tournament in 2014. With his stellar resume and experience in the 2013 Presidents Cup, Hideki will be one of the key players for the International Team for the 2015 Presidents Cup in South Korea.
So far this season, Hideki Matsuyama has racked up five top 10 finishes in his first ten events on the PGA Tour. Hideki also finished strong at the year’s first Major with a fifth place finish at the Masters. His strong play has continued this week at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play as he is currently 2-0, closing strongly in today’s match as he came back from 2 Down in the last 5 holes to win the match 2 Up. This match play experience will surely help Hideki’s confidence going into the Presidents Cup later this year at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea.
